Went in for an eyebrow wax. After waxing, she went over my brows with threading, which left the skin on my right eyebrow red, burning, and with open cuts. When I asked for a refund, it was refused and the responsibility was placed on my “sensitive skin,” rather than acknowledging that threading over freshly waxed skin can cause damage. I’ve had my eyebrows waxed and threaded many times before and have never experienced skin tearing or open wounds. I also had my upper lip threaded during the same visit with no issues, which further shows this was not simply a sensitivity problem. I don’t recommend this place not just because of the injury, but because of the lack of accountability afterward. Mistakes happen, but how they’re handled matters.
