Dixie Nails

Edit- I had to update this because while his talent is great, application is not. I paid $100 ($130 with tip) for that set. After 3-4 days they were lifting. Another $70! In less than a week and a half I had to go in and have several replaced. My nails felt weak and when I finally decided to go somewhere else, I removed these and they came off so easily. My nails were moist under and several were green😑 I don’t know if it’s faulty product? Not using the right nail dehydrator? I’ve worn acrylics for 40 years or so….. while these were beautiful, they did not last and I was out almost $200 in a couple weeks. Jack did an absolutely amazing job! Hands down the BEST SET I've had since moving to HSV! My search for a nail tech is over! We had so much fun talking and cracking jokes! Not only is Dixie Nails AMAZING but Issa ENTIRE VIBE!!!

Not happy at all. I have been doing my own tips, acrylics, etc. for years. I decided to treat myself and head to this salon based on the reviews. I was taken 25 minutes passed my appointment, he filed my nails too close to the cuticle and made them bleed. Finally finished and I look at my nails....there’s a gap between my nails and the artificial nails. I asked him to look at it and he said it’s normal. I told him this seems like a breeding ground for bacteria. I asked again if he’s sure and he said “I’m pretty sure”. Photos 2-4 are right out of the salon. The first photo is the next day, there’s now dirt and food stuck inside.

this place was amazing. i went here for my very first time ever doing acrylics. i don’t know the man’s name but he was very funny and he made me and my friend feel welcome! loved him and the whole experience.

Went here today (10/4) and was very impressed! They took their time, were very friendly, and spoke English very well (not that it really matters to me). The salon was clean, organized, a good temperature, and good music. I would 100% recommend them and I'll definitely make the 35-40min drive to go again! I didn't catch the name of the man that did my marble design but he is amazingly talented!
