Neither do they understand the importance of building and maintaining a strong clientel. They have a very short-sighted business model... For starters, the shop is very unkempt all the time, even when they are not busy with clients in every chair. That restroom is atrociously filthy ALL THE TIME. The furniture is badly tattered and looks as if they hauled it in from a garage sale (nothing matches)... Wanting to help a black business out, I tolerated the condition of the establishment. Today is my second time at this salon. I really like the ladies here, they are very nice and professional, also I love the way they do my hair not too tight and I will be coming back each time for the friendliness and respect they provide to their customers .

I have been to Djama Hair Braiding Gallery for twists, knotless braids, and cornrows here and there over the last five years or so. Their braids have never been great, but enough to get by and there’s plenty of parking. The quality of the work continues to worsen. During my last visit in June 2021, I was highly dissatisfied with the work of my braider. I was overcharged and the braids were not up to par. The braids were large and the work was not neat even though I paid additional fee for the braids to be small. The braider was rude and kept trying to convince me that the braids were small. Fortunately, the owner agreed to fix my hair (hence the 2 stars) and was apologetic. But, it was such a huge inconvenience and waste of time/money. I will never return.

Great experience at Djama hair braiding gallery! The staff was professional and welcoming, and my braids came out neat, clean, and exactly how I wanted them. The process was quick, and they took good care of my natural hair. Highly recommend for quality braiding and excellent service!
