Having curly hair while loving the length to be semi long not too short and also having some trauma from previous haircuts (if you know you’ll understand) I stopped going to salons for about a year. My ends got super bad and my curls were getting damaged. I looked at many different salons and spoke with different hairstylist that did really good work but.. you can tell between someone that clocks in to work and someone the loves and enjoys what to do and express it. D’Mary literally made me feel like my hair mattered to her, that my curls can still come back healthier and when I asked for the trim to not be too short but knew that the split ends had to go. I'm really thankful for how she patiently took her time detangling and blow-drying my hair. She also suggested some great hair products for my hair type (a nourishing shampoo, a deep conditioner, a leave-in treatment, and hair oil). She even shared personalized tips on my hair care routine and protective styles. This advice ended up saving me a lot of money by helping me avoid unnecessary products and treatments. PLUS I just love her vibes!!!
