Dominican Star Hair Salon

Whoever did my hair on 12/16/2025 asked me to if I wanted to clip my ends. I told them do not take much off. My hair is destroyed and my stylist in Philadelphia mentioned it today. For $90+ dollars my hair is uneven and looks like my hair was clipped by a child. Never allow someone who is taking orders from another to cut your hair. I was not thinking and said yes grated they had much color items in salon so I would not think my hair would be terrible. Also left my hair up in the front flying around. Just terrible.

Over charges for a regular blow out! Stylist w the blonde hair I believe is the owner is not friendly & you can see her attitudes towards Americans. Please go to the New York Dominican hair salon up the street for cheaper & the same amazing results! The customer service is also way better! Oh I read a comment under one review where they claim they offer water , juice , coffee ? Lies I went last weekend and the only thing that was offered was me being rushed to pay over $100 for a blow out. My friend also went here & they tried to charge her over $60 for a style that’s it ! Nothing else smh people have become money hungry and it’s sad I don’t see this business staying open for long

I walked up to this salon around 5:30 pm. Online it says that they close at 6:30. You have no website…… I get to the door and it’s locked, but I can see inside since there are floor to ceiling windows. A lady gives me a stank glare and doesn’t move, continues to scroll on her android. If you're closed MAYBE switch your sign to closed? If you value customer service maybe you be polite to potential customers? In this economy! We don’t have to deal with you people’s stank attitude. I’m sure that’s why your shop was empty. Get a better attitude.

I have 1 stylist within the last 6 years but yesterday I decided to try Dominican Star and they really exceeded my expectations!! I was a little nervous but Claris took such great care of me, I was literally dozing off at the shampoo bowl. Rosanna did a phenomenal job on my hair and she styled it w/ some little curls (don’t normally like how it look on my face) but when I mean GORGEOUS!!!!! I really could not stop thanking her!! Both ladies were so sweet and understanding and I will definitely be a regular now.

Great personalities from all artist. This plaza has perfect lighting. Good spirits as always just mindful holesome fun professionalism is definitely on point. Everything is done in a timely fashion, you can rush perfection. Everyone please invest in oneself and get that DEEP CONIDTIONER THAT PRODUCT WORKS FOR ME.
