Went to D’or Nail for the first time and not a fan of my experience at all… this was my first time getting acrylic nails and I said that to the lady doing my nails and that I wanted it low. Here are the issues with my experience: - the length that she said would be an extra $5, I told her to cut lower than that. I was still charged the extra $5 - I asked to see about 4 different colors and the first they didn’t have, the second was only gel (though I stated I wanted the same color for my hands and toes but no gel on my toes), the third was much lighter and more on the white color than the example nail showed and then finally I settled for a color. - during the time of my figuring out my color, the lady who did my manicure had an attitude! She kept asking if this was the last color I was g

When cutting my cuticles, she made multiple fingers bleed. Days later, my fingers/cuticles still are painful to touch and sensitive to hot water. Other than my cuticles looking bruised and beat up, the gel mani she did is really cute. The scrub used in the pedi felt cheap. The scrubbing particles were tiny and hardly felt. It was more so the watered down gel substance being rubbed onto my skin. Some polish on one of my toes has already partially come off. The pedicure itself is not very neat looking, especially in comparison to the mani. I was disappointed that a place with 4.5 stars didn’t provide amazing results. If I return, it will be to get this one toe fixed. Other than that, I would be hesitant to return. *Update: I did return to the salon and the same guy from Monday fixed th

Called ahead and specifically asked for a nail tech skilled in designs. I was assigned to a nail tech Jenny. I was assured she would be able to execute the design and she failed to do so. The service was rushed, the design looked amateur, and it had to be removed and redone multiple times. I understanding rushing the foundation because that’s basic if you are doing nails everyday this make sense. But rushing a design? You think because she kept messing up that it would click to slow down. No! Just continued to rush and it looked terrible. On top of that, there was repeated pressure to pay upon check out due to the fact my apply pay kept promoting me for the passcode, which felt very money-driven and unprofessional. I paid $98 plus tip and still had to get my nails redone elsewhere. I am a

Really glad to have found this place! The two times I have been everyone has been very friendly and accommodating. They’ve done a great job on both my manicures and pedicure. They take special care to shape the nails, which I think matters a lot if you’re going to spend money to get them done professionally. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on both GelX manicures I’ve received, and the gel pedicure has really stood the test of time with no chipping or other issues (4 weeks and counting). This last time my artist assured me we could do a fill versus a whole new set of tips for the GelX and even suggested a fill may work next time. I say that to say I haven’t felt like they’re trying to upcharge me like other places I’ve been to. Nails came out cute both times if I do say so myself 💅

I’ve been coming here for several months now but my last few appointments have been very disappointing. This one lady did cat eye on my nails they chipped in literally 3 days. I didn’t make a fuss I assumed maybe it was just the nail tech. Then when I go back for another full set I get chrome French tips from Darren. My nails chipped the very next day. I went back to let him fix his mistakes and he sent me to three different nail techs and they all did a horrible job. When I asked if he could just fix them himself he got an attitude so I just left. I don’t think I will be returning back which is unfortunate because I really like the vibe of the shop and the guy who is the host.
