Michael did an amazing job fixing up my existing locks (ones I had put in myself and done a poor job on) as well as adding in a couple rows of new locks. I’m beyond impressed with my locks!! I thought for sure the ones I’d put in myself would be messed up forever but it’s been a few months since Dr. Lockstar gave them some TLC and now they’re locking up beautifully. If you need an expert lock doctor, Michael is your guy! Pricey, but worth every penny.

I have been going to Michael going on 6 months now. When I went for my first session, it had been the first time I got my dreads maintained after the first installation. I’m all seriousness, they looked rough, really really rough. But 5 hours later he returned them to their formal glory! His attitude, prices, and overall demeanor keeps me going back. Highly highly recommend.

Dr. Lockstar does a very complete and fantastic job! Upon scheduling with Michael, I met with him at his space and we talked about my history with dreads, time I’ve had them and his approach to caring for an individuals progression with dreads. He was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns about my young dreads. He corrected many “kinks” and issues with them and his technique is much less uncomfortable than I’ve experienced with others. Much appreciated for sure! I definitely enjoyed working with him and would definitely recommend his professional services to anyone looking for the best in care for their dreads! Michael has been the best to work with! My hair has looked great since the day he put them in 4 years ago. He has cared for my hair every 5-6 week since then. I can't say how much I would recommend his work!

My experiences and multiple services with Michael over the past 3 months, have been good. He's very respectful and I have no complaints from a female point of view. He cares about your hair wellness and you as a person too. He listens to you and adjusts to you. He's accommodating and provides a few room locations that are very clean, uplifting, and vibrant. When you turn in look for the orange cones, that he put out, that helps alot with the single road. Good convo and good vibes are there.
