Absolutely unacceptable experience. The hairdresser was extremely rude and kept yanking my hair the entire appointment. When I politely asked her to be more gentle, she glared at me and snapped, “Do you have a problem?!” I will not be returning and I strongly advise others to stay away.
If I could give a 0/10 I would. They were not friendly, poor communication and didn’t meet any expectations. I booked a blow out and 10 min scalp massage. She didn’t do the scalp massage (said she won’t charge me). I also mentioned my hair is dirty; she didn’t even wash my scalp. Throughout the hair drying process she pulled out multiple extensions “because I kept pulling my head back” when she was tugging at my hair. She burnt my scalp twice from the heat of the blow dryer. I mentioned it and she continued to pull aggressively and give nothing but poor service. I’m not one to leave poor reviews, but I am beyond astonished that I’ve had services from various states 10/10. This was 0/10 at most.
This morning I called and made an appointment for my mom. Tried to give my mom a mothers day gift with a dry bar blow out. I specifically told the person I booked the appointment eith to give her the old fashioned hairstyle because my mom wants curls. Blow dry stylist was Vickie. They didnt give my mom the standard style of service which includes giving my mom the lookbook (incase the staff didn't annotate that I instructed them to do an old fashioned) to decide her hairstyle, and I paid for 45 minutes of service not 20 minutes. Her negative experience with drybar made her feel, think, and question whether she was treated differently and with a lower quality of service because she is not the typical client. No one should be made to feel less than when they are a paying client and paid 20%
I don't usually leave reviews, but for some reason I feel like I should. As someone who often fixes their hair right after leaving the salon, I was super happy with my experience. I got my hair done this morning by Tamia, a new stylist at this location, and she was amazing. She took her time and genuinely cared that I was happy with the result. The girl at the front desk, whose name I didn’t catch, was also awesome. She was welcoming, seemed genuinely happy to be there, and helped me pick an add-on for my hair concerns. Overall, I'm very happy and will definitely be coming back to get my hair done by Tamia!
Jonathan was AMAZING so sweet and funny and did my hair perfectly🙏🏼❤️
