Just finished up a delightFULL experience with Jonathan! I felt so well cared-for, and am walking out feeling ready to take on a week with confidence and beautiful hair!! I have to say I was so impressed with Jonathan ‘s and Sara’s professionalism. While Jonathan was taking care of my hair, Sara’s client suddenly started yelling at her, berating her and threatening to call Drybar’s corporate office to complain. This client had been on the phone at the time of her appointment, and continued her conversation even while Sara was taking her back for the wash portion. Given a more than reasonable buffer, Sara tapped the client on the shoulder. The next thing I knew, the client was yelling at Sara about how she (the client) had just needed to finish her business call and was offended that Sara w

Terrible management, stylist was great! I’ve been a loyal Barfly member for a while now. I had an appointment for 5:30 pm at the Hells Kitchen location on November 12th. The shop has a 15-minute grace period, and I arrived just before 5:45 pm. Upon arrival, I was informed that they could only offer a dry style due to overbooking. Despite having 30 minutes left on my appointment and arriving within the grace period, they refused to accommodate my request to priorize a wash instead of a style. Even when the stylist assured me that she could complete a wash and dry within the remaining time, the manager remained adamant. To add insult to injury, they are out of dry shampoo. At checkout, another stylist thought I was checking in - that’s how terrible my hair looked when leaving! $60+ dollars

Came to NYC for a Galentine's adventure. Came to Drybar Hells Kitchen to complete the look for dinner and a broadway show. Ive been to multiple dry bars and this was by far the best Blow out I've gotten. Diana was amazing and made my hair look better than I could've imagined. Highly recommend!

This was a terrible experience. I understand and sympathize that there’s a NYE rush, but that should not be passed onto the customer. Don’t be greedy and make this many appointments available then. Or hire more stylists. My appointment start 25 minutes late. The stylist rushed through the whole appointment as a result, drenching my ears, neck and face in water during the hair wash. She was extremely rough and pulled and tugged way too hard. The brushes were not cleaned properly between customers, she started working on me with a brush with someone else’s hair still on it. And I had the pleasure of paying 65 dollars plus tax for this joyful experience.

If I could put zero stars I would. Totally u reliable! I have a black tie event and this location canceled my appointment via email after it was confirmed a week ago. The email said I canceled the appointment and if I received this email in error to call. I called and was told that they had an event booked, so they canceled my appointment and I should have received a message letting me know. I did not. The person on the phone checked to see if another dry bar could accommodate, but they couldn’t. She apologized. I will never rely on Drybar again and will not recommend anyone else does if you have booked them for an event. They can cancel at their own discretion for other business without notice enough to rebook elsewhere. Awful service.
