DT African Hair Braiding

Actually incredible. I usually fly to Nigeria to get my hair braided, so I only get to about twice a year. This is the only time I’ve entrusted my braids to braiders in the US (high quality braids cost an arm and a leg here as you all know). Needless to say, they SABI WORK! This cost me $200 total, length just past the middle of my back and price includes the all hair (including boho bits) AND a blow dry. I showed up with nothing but wet hair lol. Love it. They put a heater and my feet and offered me snacks and water. Most importantly, they were polite and accommodating. I wasn’t anxious to communicate what I wanted as they worked. Y’all know how some hair stylists out here can be. Thank yall so much. A girls spot! Please don’t come here w an attitude bc these ladies do not deserve it. Che

This place is by far the best in the west end Atlanta! They are so professional and the shop was so clean. My hair came out AMAZING!! Alima and Angel made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place if you want good customer service and neat braids. I will be back soon! ❤️

The best braiders I have been to in ATL! I got a same day appointment at an affordable price and it came out really well. I received the large knotless butt length. They were extremely kind and fast. Best service I will be back! Only took 3 hours!

Me and my daughters appointment was made for 10am this past Saturday.. we got there they started on my head a few minutes after getting there. The lady who is head of the shop then stops to braid another clients head down. I kept asking when were they going to start on my daughter’s head because we had appointments made days in advance and had a time limit she kept saying they were about to start. They didn’t start on my child’s head until finishing mine at 6pm we didn’t leave the shop until almost 11 for simple box braid all because they looked over my child and decided to cater to the walk ins instead of the ones who made appointments. She told me she would take $30 off for my child because of the wait but then when I paid the lady she had doing her hair at the end wanted to change it as

DT Hair Braiding Studio is honestly one of the best braid experiences I’ve ever had in Atlanta. I got boho knotless braids for $190, and they came out beautifully. The parts are clean, the braids are neat, and the hair feels super lightweight. What really stood out was the vibe, it genuinely felt like I was at home. The energy was calm, welcoming, and comfortable the whole time. No attitude, no rushing, no weird tension… just good conversation and professionalism. They made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in to make sure I liked everything before they finished. If you want cute braids, a peaceful environment, and people who actually care about how your hair looks and how you feel while you’re there, I highly recommend DT Hair Braiding Studio.
