Also, a quick shoutout to Elkin, a master colorist, who once went above and beyond by fixing my wheelchair when I had a broken ankle. Duo Collective is a fabulous down to earth salon with experienced hair stylists who make you feel at ease. Sheila is a phenomenal hair stylist who is always studying her craft and perfecting her skills. She has a great aesthetic and a keen eye. She knows hair whether it be short, medium or long and she knows how to cut/style your hair to make things look "just right." Sheila is also great with color, she'll perfect your hair color with her magical touch. She has a great personality and always makes everyone feel at ease with her infectious laugh. 20+ Years and Still the Best! I’ve followed Sheila to different salons for over 20 years because she is simply the best. She has navigated my hair’s transition from curly to gray with such expertise and care. Her new space is stylish and cozy (you’ll want to stay for coffee or wine 😝), and the SF location is perfect for a "Me Day" of shopping and people-watching. Sheila has been doing my hair for at least 30 years and I have to say she has always provided exceptional professional consistent service! I’ve done a Yelp review on her years ago about her haircuts that last. There’s some magic in the way she cuts hair because my hair looks fabulous leaving the salon as well as many months later. I appreciate the full service color, wash, cut and style. She gives the best shampoo/conditioner/head massage! I always wish she would go longer. Their new location at Tillman Place is also easy to get to and feels so modern yet relaxing. Definitely give Duo Collective a visit.
