MY UPDATED REVIEW 2025: I've been coming here since I moved to this side of town in 2019. It's always been cool. I didn't like the fact that they only took cash but I dealt with it. I didn't like the fact that they had the heat on in the summertime but I understand where they are from versus where they're living now. So I suck it up and I don't say anything. I deal with it. But things are changing. All good things must come to an end, right? I went yesterday to get my regular box braids. I called the day before to set the appointment and I asked how early I could come. (I asked this because they usually don't show up at your requested appointment time if it's early morning so I wanted her to give me a time.) She asked me how early would I like to come 8:00, 8:30? I’ve been here a few times and if you want a fair and honest review here i am. First off these women are African so there can be a style / language barrier. I’d you want super specific and detailed braids please go to a braider on IG. They’re awesome quality at knotless braids for sure. People say they can be rude but it’s kinda like talking to someone and they don’t understand what you’re saying they’re not trying to be rude they just didn’t understand what you said . Do not go there for scalp braids or stitch braids. They don’t know how to do the pattern you’re expecting as you can see in the first pic. I didn’t mind them and i liked em. You gotta give people room to be people

My wife went to have treebraids done. Showed the so called stylist 4 pictures of how she wanted it done as well as the color. She can't follow instructions and must be color blind. They have a sign posted stating you must pay for your service before you get it (really) and if you use a credit card there is a $3.00 service fee. What school did these people attend? And God knows I try not to complain but customer service has become absurd. I paid, but I will never go in there again. HORRIBLE Poor business skills!!

NEVER GO THERE EVER!!!! So this isnt my first nor third time coming to this place. All times have been different. I went in at 10am. I asked for micros. She examined my hair and told me 4 hours. I left b/c she needed to call someone in. We started at 10:30am. We finished at 7:23 pm!!!! I took no breaks. I went to the restroom twice. There were 4 women there. Only 1 pereon worked on my head at a time between 2 of those women. For 15 minutes, the 2 worked on my head at the same time. One had to go pick up her kids. The other left me for 30 minutes to, "go get juice," for her baby. Meanwhile the other 2, NEVER WORKED ON ME. I sat there watching 3 other ladies leave. A woman came in 4 hours after me and 3 of them began working on her. After 7 hrs, my head was tender. Genius finished my head

I got boho knotless braids done, and they are beautiful!!! The service was completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price as compared to other shops. Great job!
