Had the Mangu (3 golpes) and chinola juice. It was good not great considering the $17 amount. The portion was on the medium to large size considering it’s a Latin restaurant and they usually serve way more than enough for 1 person. The service was good, friendly staff with a smile.

We always come here to buy food esp Moro de Guandules and for reason we found a roach in food we nothing vomitted this is disgustingly nasty how in the world can you sell for this sanitation is bad

This was the worse experience my husband had. He went into the restaurant and they acted as if he wasn’t even present because he is African American and does not speak spanish. There was another African American women there as well. Had my husband not spoke up for her she would’ve been waiting and not served as well when she asked and was ready to state her order. The men and the women are very rude servers. She did not make him clear about the price before paying when he asked she said 29$ and he was charged 35$. I would never go here again , and for the price that was charged for the infamous “rice “ the rice was very hard and dry. I love their food. It can sometimes be a little on the salty side but that is how Dominican food should be. Their chicken is full of flavor, I recommend putting some of the sauce they give you on the chicken to give it a little moisture. The rice is my favorite part. The arroz con guandules is to die for. Love this place! So glad they’re back after 8 months of renovations
