Elgin One Stop

An awesome place to have in a small town you can get some fuel plenty of parking and the food is good! A good place to get fuel, there's a hotel here and a hardware store. There's a coffee shop across the street! However at this place they do have coffee and make breakfast in the a.m.

I stopped here 2 times within 2 hours and the service was awesome both times. The lady working behind the counter was great. There was a teenage boy stocking shelves and he was so polite and when I went back and got something to eat the man behind the counter was fast with making an order for me. The food was delicious. I ordered gizzards,chicken, and some broccoli cheddar bites, all of it was very, very good.

Whoever the cook is that worked Sunday November 23 round 4pm sure got a bad attitude. I buy food there everyday, you want to talk to a customer like you do, I will take my business somewhere else.

Have stopped there several times to grab something to eat & never stayed there until last night . The two ladies were very friendly & cooked me a fresh order of Gizzards. Come to find out they have showers for $12.00. They could use a good cleaning & better water pressure but it surely beats nothing at all.

Most of the staff are really nice people. Except for one... She reacts to you walking in as the biggest inconvenience in her life. No greeting, no smile and not a thank you. Seriously, if you hate your job so much, find something else to do. People don't need your negative vibes. I used to go in every morning and frequently in the afternoon. Now, no more. This woman makes going in there about as good as putting salt in your coffee, instead of sugar. To that woman I say: I will spend my money elsewhere.
