The salon is very professionally run and is always clean. Stephanie is very skilled in her craft but she lacks “chair side manners”. From the first time I sat in her chair, she seems to always want to scold me for either not coming regularly or has some snarky comment about seeing product buildup in my hair and to be honest, it always feels like a personal attack. If, as a hair stylist, you want to convey what is needed for me to maintain my hair, by all means do so. But using a scolding tone or being condescending is unnecessary. And each time I’ve come I thought “maybe it’s just me overthinking”….no it wasn’t. I've been coming to Elite to see Stephanie for my hair care maintenance for almost 12 years and she's never let me down. If you need someone that genuinely cares about the health of your hair and is truly honorable about their business practices, Stephanie is your woman.

I came to this salon because other stylists kept pressuring me to relax my hair. Stephanie assured me over the phone she would assess my hair and help me keep my hair the way it naturally grows. 5 years later this is the only salon I go to. My hair has never been this long or healthy and I never had to get a relaxer either :). The stylists here are the best and the atmosphere is always welcoming and professional.
