As an African American woman, let me just say this: this is the first hair store where I don’t feel like I’m being watched like I’m on an episode of CSI: Beauty Supply. Instead, the staff is actually friendly—real friendly. They even called me for two days straight because I forgot to answer (I don’t pick up numbers I don’t know). When I finally picked up, they were like, “Hey! We forgot to put something you paid for in your bag. We’re holding it for you!” And mind you, I shop there so much they know me by my last name. I didn’t even notice anything was missing… that’s how deep my shopping cart gets. Long story short, they absolutely did not have to go out of their way like that, and I appreciate their honesty and customer service. I will never betray my favorite store 😂.

It’s a very beautiful store , I felt very uncomfortable shopping there. Didn’t even want to shop there because of how uncomfortable I was. Having multiple people trying to watch you is insane. There’s needs to be a new staff team that’s is very welcoming. Very upset for my shopping experience there. And some lady kept looking over at me on another isle while I was looking at a product. Very strange and sad to say many of customers felt the same way.

Pretty OK store they have buzzers on everything which make it ridiculous people gonna steal they’re gonna steal you can’t stop them and another note I spent 300 and some change today on products. They’re gonna have a nerve to give me a free stocking cap. How is that showing customer appreciation you should be giving me something that valuable for spending all that money within your store I’m never spending that much there again. I promise you that.

Enjoyed me experience….was looking for hair extensions and the ladies helped me pick one that matched my hair color exact. Very friendly. Will be going back

I had a deeply uncomfortable encounter at this establishment that left me feeling profiled and unwelcome. It was clear that racial bias played a role in how I was treated, and I left feeling humiliated and angry. I would not recommend shopping here unless you want to be treated with suspicion and disrespect. Fortunately, this area is full of beauty stores that actually value their customers and provide excellent service. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere—and encouraging others to do the same.
