Essentials Day Spa of St Petersburg

While your team is friendly, it is not my type of experience- although perhaps someone else's. I am more into a massage in a dark room with a massage therapist who doesn't talk and with a relaxing experience. The therapeutic massage was anything but I have done deep tissue and therapeutic many times and never experienced anything like the massage I had yesterday. It was more a sports massage than therapeutic or deep tissue. My facial was nice, but again not relaxing. A bright light on my face is not what was I was looking for. I have had many facials, and my skin felt even more dehydrated than when I arrived. Again, maybe some people enjoy that service but I did not. Overall, I would not recommend and would recommend a more well known brand.

Upon arrival, no one greeted us and there was no staff member at the front desk. After signing paperwork, we were directed to the waiting area, where we overheard staff speaking unprofessionally about other employees. We also heard comments about a room smelling like mold and that laundry had not been done the previous day, which was very concerning and immediately made us uncomfortable. Despite requesting two female massage therapists, we were assigned a male therapist, which was not what we asked for. Our appointment was scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM, yet it started 16 minutes late due to one of the specialists arriving late. The room we were placed in had an unpleasant odor, as did the therapist, and there was no noticeable aromatherapy present. This environment was far from relaxing.

I had a great experience. T was a phenomenal massage therapist. Really knew how to work out my shoulders and neck tension. I also got a facial. But I forgot her name. But my skin is so smooth and clean now. They both stayed late to accommodate me. Really high quality customer service. If I lived here I’d be back regularly. Loved it!

Ariana & Debbie were excellent! I only wish it was longer. I am looking right now at booking the service again for the 80 minutes & another service for appointment for facials! I booked the couples massage for 50 minutes & it was wonderful. My boyfriend & I had a lovely experience & will come back again! The spa was clean, staff was welcoming & the overall experience was amazing! The time in the infrared sauna was also quite nice. I definitely recommend Essentials Day Spa of St. Pete.

I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of reliability at this establishment. We booked a session for two, only to have it canceled via phone call 40 minutes prior due to a staff emergency. After choosing to be patient and rescheduling for the following day, we were canceled on again—this time with only 30 minutes notice—for the exact same reason. While I understand emergencies happen, two consecutive last-minute cancellations suggest a significant issue with coordination and respect for clients' time. A very frustrating experience."
