Evelyn Hair Salon and barbershop

My hair is thick curly and dry and Evelyn does such a great job on it. I’m used to Dominican salons in NYC. She is the only one I trust to do my hair now. My hair looked so shiny and boneless. It lasted me weeks. 10/10

Love love love my doobies. Being from BK Evelyn’s is literally like home. She doesn’t charge me extra for my thick natural hair. I speak fluent Spanish when we negotiate prices for my services. Always satisfied.

Evelyn’s Hair Salon is the worst salon I went to ever!! Worst experience of my life. I paid $95 for a service that was not even worth $30. It is absolutely ridiculous. The lady who cut my hair was tugging on my scalp like she wanted to rip it off. After she finished cutting and dried it. She proceeded to style my hair in a way I didn’t even want. I would not recommend this salon to anybody else.

I would give this place no stars if I could! First let me say this, I have not gone to this salon in three years because of how I felt during and after the service. First the wait time was long (understandable being as though I did not have an appointment). Once I was about to leave someone decided to take me. The lady that took me was so busy speaking to her friend that she was literally digging her nails in my scalp. Not paying attention to my hair texture and me the paying customer because she was so busy talking to her friend. I told her and she kept doing it. I let it slide. Then she decided to ask what i was getting which was dye (brown) and a blowout. Once she finished, she went to the back and put something in the shampoo/conditioner bottle. I am 100% certain now it was perm. Keep

Evelyn was so pleasant. She took the time do my long, thick , natural hair and offered snacks. Definitely would recommend.
