Expose hair loft

This owner, Michelle, is so unreliable and will waste your time. Insists on in-person consults and only then can you book an appointment for another day. I only have so many days off. When I show up to the studio at the agreed upon time or call to make sure she's there, she isn't. I just wanted a silk press and color, and could've easily texted her pictures of what I want. When I go in person, I'm just going to show her my phone. Look for someone else, because she clearly doesn't need or want the extra business.

This was my first time going to the salon, and I want to share my honest experience because I know how much we all care about protecting our hair. If you have 4c or type 3 hair (coily or curly textures), I'm going to be real with you - I can't recommend Ramona for wash, blowout, or silk press services. I say this not to be mean, but because I genuinely don't want anyone else to experience what I did. Look, she'll listen when you tell her what you want, but listening and knowing what to do are two different things. She does not know how to handle coily hair with care. My hair wasn't detangled during the wash and conditioning process. When the blow drying started, I could still see product buildup and flakes in my hair. I was looking for a stylist who does short hair. I went to Expose on a Saturday and got an appointment with Michelle for the following Wednesday. Michelle explained how she wanted lots of time with me to explore style options and get to know my style likes and dislikes. I received 3 or 4 text message reminders about my appointment. On the day of my appointment I arrived 10 minutes early. When I walked in Michelle was still working on the previous clients hair and asked me to come back in about an hour. I left and reluctantly came back in an hour and ten minutes (due to heavy traffic) and she was not there. Coming from out of state , I was very nervous going to a new salon. I have to say I’m beyond happy with my choice to try out Expose Hair Loft!! I had a silk press done by machala who was awesome! Pretty sure I just found my new hair stylist! I feel like a whole new person! I love my hair! I will definitely be returning!

So very pleased with this business! It’s a true gem in clermont. A good hair salon with great staff is not easy to find. Michala did a great job on my hair and she is so kind. The owner is so very nice and professional too. I will def be going back.
