Express African Hair Braiding

I went for boho knotless braids and they looked great and parts were fine I even got my hair washed by them too, but it’s ONE WEEK later and all the boho pieces are falling out. Like I could LITERALLY pull them out the braids👀. They only have synthetic hair for the boho so if you want human hair, you’d have to bring it yourself like I did. And they’re not really 24 hours but I’d recommend going early morning to beat the other people coming in. While I was getting my hair done a couple people came in some had appointments, some not and the ones that booked an appointment, their stylist wasn’t even there and they just ended up leaving soo I wouldn’t say it’s the most professional shop but I’d kinda recommend getting braids here just not boho.

This is the best braiding place I ever went to. The service was nice and they gave me the hair style i exactly wanted but even more better. Some days like in the summer time they even do specials like free braiding hair. I recommend going to this place.

There was a minor incident involving customer service when I first arrived that left me feeling very uncomfortable that’s why it’s a 4 not a 5. But Ester stepped in and took over and did an exceptional job on hair. I bought sparkle tinsel for hair on Amazon and we both partnered in making different color patterns throughout my braids, when the light hits it’s so gorgeous. The braids and parting were extremely neat. My scalp was so happy with her hands in my hair, no breakage on my edges, and scalp was not tender at all. I could immediately style it after, which is major for me because I am tender headed 🤏🏽😇. I will definitely be coming back but only to Ester 💯💕✨.

I'm going to be completely honest with this review. The first time I came here was by accident and they did an AMAZING JOB so I decided to come back today and I had the worst experience. FYI, the first chair is a barber so there's men there also. Then there's 5 other chairs for the braiders, no AC but a huge fan that did absolutely nothing. Let's not forget all of the kids.. It was entirely too much going on! Now the reason I won't be back is because I got a new braider that made so many mistakes even though I showed her a picture of the hairstyle that I wanted (& they did that hairstyle in their salon!! 🙄😩) she had to start over many times and wasted 8 hours of my time! No discount was given just a dry apology. My second and final time coming here.

Ester braided my hair and did an amazing job! The parts were super clean, the braids were neat,and they felt tight but not painful. I got knotless box braids and they came out perfect — exactly how I wanted. They service was very nice and everyone was respectful. Highly recommend her if you want quality braids that last!
