Fallou African Hair Braiding

Going here was my first experience going to a salon since moving to LA, as well as my first time getting braids in 10 years and I loved it. My hair turned out beautiful.

This is not the owner’s braiding work. She has others in the shop that doesn’t know how the hair parting method works. I have pictures below to show the results after I took it down at home. This style supposed to be medium knotless braids. She charged me $250 for this style. There were some areas that wasn’t parted right and some had a knot for the braid. If the owner of this shop is not able to do your hair, I advise anyone to go somewhere else. You’re not going to be pleased with the hair style you had requested. Also, the other hair stylists don't speak English.

This isn’t an experience that I’m begging for ever again. I would’ve been more comfortable using Booksy or any booking app so that there is a clear and concise price for services. Instead, I was told one price over the phone and then another midway through the process of my hair being done. Imagine the frustration of being a victim of the ole’ “bait and switch” when you’ve confirmed the prices twice before your scheduled appointment. Sadly, that wasn’t the only issue encountered. A few days following my loc re-attachment, a few of my locs had fallen out. Of course, I was concerned and phoned Mrs. Fallou about it. Took my granddaughter in for 4-5 stitch braids at 8:30PM, not only was the price ridiculously high, it took well over 3 hours for such a simple style, will not be returning
