Family Hair Braiding - New York NY

I just got my hair done there today and I am in love with it!! Incredibly fast and neat service with very friendly braid technicians. The pricing was also extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend!!

Ms. Diallo and the family are excellent braid technicians. Professional, reasonable price, and efficient work. My wife put me on. My son comes. And I regularly get my hair braided. My nieces too! Highly advise to NOT go to this place. First they won’t listen or do what I’m asking them to do specifically. For example, I asked for my hair extension track to be sewn in slightly lower so the length would be longer but the woman said “no it’s fine here” and put it higher up. I got home and found that she had missed sewing half of one of the wefts of hair and it was dangling in my hair and not sewn in at all. I went back to get it fixed and she refused to remove the row of hair to put it in correctly and instead just twisted what should’ve been a weft sewn in the bottom layer to the top and just stitched it in - making a mess of it all. Very unprofessional salon. They take your money and don’t provide you with any service. They cancel on you last minute and won’t give you a refund. I do not recommended this shop. I’m a traveling customer from CT who is not satisfied. The owner is very disrespectful and nasty to customers!!!

I love going here to let Adama braid my hair. It’s never to tight and it always last without braids slipping out also her prices are great! 3 stars only because the place could use a face lift and alittle more cleaning especially the bathroom.
