Fanny Hair Braiding

I ran into a last-minute dilemma and needed my teenage daughter's hair braided for a trip. I contacted Fanny on a Sunday and explained it to her. She fit my daughter in the next day. We arrived and she was just finishing the client before us. So I would say she scheduled us perfectly. We weren't sitting and waiting. I explained to her the hair and everything we had was because my daughter had been having bad allergic reactions when getting her hair braided by others in the past. She was super understanding and respectful of that. She was kind and braided beautifully. The shop was extremely clean. My daughter loves her hair. We will definitely return again and again. Fanny was the best hairbraider this little town had. Her prices can't be beat and her service is quality, but her availability is awlful. I used to take my daughter and mother here, but she started cancelling appointments left and right and offering a 2 week makeup time.. She is one of the sweetest people in the world. She can duplicate styles and they look decent. Good luck with appointments.

Fanny is hands down the best at braiding in Albany. She's very sweet and her dedication is shown through her work. She does braid very tight, she is an African woman so that is expected. She always does ask if she is braiding too tight and will adjust as needed. Not many women are as courteous as she is and I love that aspect about her. Below is a sew-in and box braids done by her. Highly recommend anyone to book an appointment with her and get treated like a queen by a queen!!

Super UNPROFESSIONAL! If you have important events and you are depending on her to get your hair done, forget! And if she is not in the mood she will cancel the night before or the day of your appointment. Before going to get your hair done,please call to see if she is still available.
