Fantastic Hair Braiding DC

The only reason I’m not giving one star is because they did finish my hair. Did I like it? Not really, but they finished. Everything was seemingly fine until the end. It bothered me that when I walked in (there was one lady working at the time), The lady was on the phone with her friend and wouldn’t get off to even ask what I wanted to do with my hair… I didn’t get the name of the ladies working on my hair. But that first lady and an older woman were really kind, but the third one was so incredibly rude and disrespectful, and had no understanding of customer service. (On a petty note: she also stunk of BO, which I tried to ignore throughout the session). My hair was done very quick and looks beautiful! I went to this salon which is located across the street from the yes organic market on the lower level when I say the area was clean and work was amazing I mean it (prices are reasonable and negotiable) Tip to avoid the wait : Go on mondays in the morning ( have hair already washed with no product in it)

As a heads-up if anyone is interested, it looks like you'll have to visit in person to book an appointment or just to contact anyone. I tried contacting this place after reading the reviews which the satisfaction rate is very high, but unfortunately for two days I didn't get any response. I tried booking on their website first but wouldn't work for me, phone numbers listed on their website are wrong and weird because the first number gets silent and the second automatically hangs up, the email address is wrong, and there was no response from their Instagram. Also, I unfortunately did not get the chance to get my hair done here. As I work nights, I have to be very strategic with my time before I pass out to sleep.

The experience was so phenomenal. Candy was very patient and understanding she really cares about how her clients want their hair style. I finally found a braiding shop that's cares about the client more then just the money, I will be going back. Thank you so much for my own experience and not listening to others.

This is a really good place to get braids done for men and women. The ladies who work at fantastic braids are very polite and respectful and professional. They have a lot of experience in doing different hair styles. I mainly got box braids done so I know that they do braiding really well. I received lots of compliments for the way that my hair looked. I plan to keep coming here.
