Fast and well done. Clean courteous salon with reasonable prices. So many young men in and out getting their hair braided All were very pleased. Also saw women getting goddess blocks and other more intricate styles would definitely come back.

The place was clean, but as the lady started on my hair, she got a call, then told me "I'll be right back". Well that "be right back" turned into 30mins. Not to mention paying more than what was first quoted to me. I know it's normal for them, but sitting for 2 hours listening to the ladies talk in an African language treating you like a piece of the furniture was a lot. That's the downside of going to these African Hair Braiding places. She did a nice job though.

I have been going to them since I can remember, family friendly. They knew and remember me from my mom even though I only go once a year or so. Hair always comes out amazing, i honestly dont trust anyone else.

I am updating my review as of today. These words were how I felt before I saw who she truly was. Please read.... "Bintu is my go to girl. She knows my head n she has "growing" fingers which work magic in my natural quaff. Plus the shop is clean and family oriented. Great experience every time!!!" NOW, my last experience was not so great n the attitudes were up. Maybe something was going on with the shop as a collective, who knows. They actually started shouting out the prices/tips that was given for their services. Unfortunately, Bintu was one of them. And I wasn't the only customer it was done too...I didn't like it n was confused but b4 it could become confrontational, I made my decision right there and as such, haven't returned. Back-burner action.

I’ve gotten my hair down here twice already. The first time they were very fast but my parts were uneven and the braids were different sizes. The second time they had their unruly kids running around. One woman’s daughter was throwing things at customers and even trying to spit at them. The kids were grabbing onto their mother who was doing hair and caused her to rush my hair. They have no control over the kids. My braids are again uneven and the parts are still uneven. That will be my last time going.
