Fatou African Hair Braiding

Hasn't even been a week yet and I paid 200$ for box braids, and they are falling out and are so tight it's pulling my hair straight out the roots. Very disappointing. They had a great customer service, but this is the first time I've ever experienced this with box braids.

I would not recommend this place. First, the prices are way overcharged. Second, the workers are very unprofessional. Third, they will mess up your hair and get an attitude when you try to speak to them about it. Never forgot my last experience with them I almost suffered a severe burn because one of the workers saw me sitting on the waiting chair and instead of saying excuse or letting me know she was gonna plug in the coffee machine (which had a default) she just went ahead and the next thing I know I feel hot liquid splashing and literally had to jump out the chair and to top that off that was the worst box braid I ever had, they were so cheap with the braids and when speaking up they start cursing in their native language as if you are not allowed to express your dissatisfaction with s

They do really nice braids of their own design, or what you ask for ane have a variety of hair colors. Come early if you can, especially on Fridays or Definitely make an appointment. I wish I could use my own synthetic hair, but they don't allow it. If you don't want it super tight (their basic mode) or baby hairs pulled into the braid let them know, (or so I've been told, haven't tried yet 😂) or gel the hair down first!

First time here and I will be back! I found the style that I wanted was done neatly from start to finish. I took the time to explain to the stylist what I wanted and any concerns that I may have had.She works fast. Please talk to the stylists before she starts with you,explaining what you want as well as how you want it, how tight you want it or that you want it but so tight and she should not have a problem with your request. The quality of the braids was very neat and consistent. In this place, they have all kinds of hair products sold here and you may find some items a bit cheaper in a Beauty Supply store else where. They have some items to sell that I have not seen before. It was very convenient for me to buy the packs of hair needed on site and the large variety of colors that is ava

Very over priced for shorter length. The back of my hair is shorter than the front I had to go back and now its still slightly not the same length, the middle part isn't straight and they didn't use all of the hair after practically forcing me to get 5 packs. I have hair left I don't need. As professionals they did not keep track of the hair I gave them and the length is uneven. . . and the twists aren't the best. . please go elsewhere or be prepared to monitor to make sure you get what you want. It's been a 3 days and my hair is already frizzy?? Update: 2022 Last minute I needed braids gave this place a chance again and I called and asked for a price when I got there they changed the price and I had to tell them I called previously.
