Fatou hair Braiding

LOOK ELSEWHERE. I came in yesterday as a walk in and I needed four simple braids. (Nipsey Hussle braids) My friend recommend me here , since it's my first time here in Kentucky. When I got there I never got a price. They told me to wait while someone else comes ( kept playing in my hair touching my hair and yes speaking in they're language) I was patient since I am out of town but I'm sure this is not the only braiding place here .yet there is a language barrier so I get it . I waited for about 15 mins for the owner to tell me what I showed her will be $70 that's fine because that what I intended on paying and giving her a tip if I got what I wanted but I settled for 4 braids because there was no comprehension of what I'm asking for what I wanted was zig zag braids now I'm paying 70 for fo

Positives-- The staff is friendly and professional. Negatives-- We had agreed on a price, based off of a photo that I told them I would like my hair to look like. When I arrived they said it would cost more money. I was okay with paying more since the braids I asked for were on the smaller side. While the front of my hair looks amazing with the braids evenly spaced and full. The back is a completely different story. There are barely any braids at all. With the amount of time I was there and the price they charged I expected much more.

Last minute need. When I called and the woman just said "hello" as if it were not a business, I should've continued my search. I asked the woman if they did crochets braids and how much, she said "yeah $100". When I walked in the door I really should've got back in my car and kept it moving, but I was short on time. They don't wash your hair, they only speak among themselves in their language, and I felt dirty the whole time I was there. No type of professionalism from my standards. I put the entire blame on myself for this experience, but I do not recommend them at all. It took around 2 hours or so for the service, I do appreciate that she took no breaks and I didn't have to move to another chair so she could finish another client. Never going anywhere else they did exactly what I asked perfect braids perfect size perfect everything they are awesome

I don't like giving a bad review but I have to warn others about this place. It was a terrible experience. Dirty salon. Owner lied on the phone that she could do what I wanted to get the business. I get there and someone else does my hair. She didn't do what I asked. Hair is falling out the next day. Entire areas of no hair at all. Disaster. Very disappointed. Would never recommend. Won't be back.
