Customer Reviews
I love this place! Gabby was amazing and so sweet. The venue is huge and I highly recommend! I just got a gel manicure with a single color design. Took around 2 h.
My friends and I went in for a special occasion, it did not disappoint. I made us appointments online for gel and simple design. ~$100/person+tip We waited like a minute and then met our professionals and got to work. Super inclusive. The person I worked with was sweet, did a great job listing to my ideas and reviewing photos and executed perfectly. Same experience for my friends. Run don’t walk to Finger Bang for rad nails and fun vibes.
I’ve been seeing Tessa at Fingerbang for the last 8 or so months and it’s been amazing. She’s so good! I’ve seen other artists in Portland before that operate out of a private studio, and I prefer the environment at Fingerbang full of artists. If I have a schedule conflict or if Tessa gets sick, my nails can still be fixed by someone trustworthy at the salon and I love that. My last private studio I went to had policies and rules that made it a chore to get my nails done. Tessa is just as talented as those private studios but she’s incredibly professional and creative and operates in this structured studio space that makes it easy for me to just show up at my scheduled time without silly extra rules. Pricing is clear and simple and I’m never surprised. One thing I love is that although
I’ve never been.. it was my first time… will I go back? Not sure… my normal salon charges me half of what they charged me today…for chrome on bare nails, I’m a little sad and disappointed bc the shop is cool the techs are great… ALSO everyone has thIER prices I suppose …just wish that was fully understood before I spent 100 bucks lol
This nail salon came highly recommended and for good reason. Their nail designs are excellent and they last well for 2-3 weeks ( and will fix a chip for free within the first week). Every stylist is fun to talk to but they'll also hand you a drink and let you catch up on your audio book if you want. I tend to get simple nails and keep them short, but they have elaborate designs and wild polish colors available. They don't do acrylics. Mind the cancelation policy, and they do schedule ahead. Give yourself an extra 15 mins for parking and getting stuck behind the train and it's smoother when you come in. The best place I've found for my hands in the Portland area, worth the expense.
