First Lady Hair Braiding Salon

I have been going to First Lady Hair Braiding salon for many years. Rose and her staff are amazing! From the moment that I step in the salon, they are extremely professional and kind! I have had several full sewin weaves, wig installs, braids and today, 2 strand twists! Twists are very nice and neat. I definitely recommend everyone to come to have their hair done here at this clean, beautiful salon where the staff caters to you and perform wonderful work!

if 0 stars was an option then trust me, I'd do it. The children were out of control. As a Haitian, idk how those 2 kids weren't disciplined. The other stylist should've took them kids out somewhere when customers are in the salon. But no. They're jumping on the couch next to me, running and screaming while my mom's glutes are sore from sitting down for 4.5 hours. Time consuming & unprofessional.

I recently moved to the area and had been searching for a reliable place for braids and installs—this shop exceeded my expectations! The shop is extremely clean, the stylists are all attentive, the owner is very responsive and they offer full-service hair care. Rose includes a wash with every appointment, which is such a nice touch, and she genuinely wants you to be happy with your results. She’s also open to making adjustments to ensure everything is just right, there’s no need to be shy here. I appreciate how knowledgeable she is—she takes time to educate you about your hair and the tools she uses. After a fabulous first install, I came back to get it redone for my birthday, and it came out perfect. I’ll definitely be returning again and again!

My wife was 7 months pregnant at the time of her visit and felt very unsafe with the kids playing, running, screaming, crawling, and jumping on the couch next to her. She was covering her bump out of concern in 4.5 hour visit that should've been a 2 hour braiding appointment. Slow service and execution overall! First & last name!
