Fleet Street Barbering Company

This is an amazing barbershop! I highly recommend that folks go. Not only do they do an excellent job at cutting/styling hair, but they also clearly have integrity as a company and make a concerted effort to advocate for marginalized groups in the local community and beyond. They are more than deserving of your patronage!!

Edie is the reason I go to Fleet Street. She listens, takes her time, and somehow always gets it right. I leave looking like a more put-together version of myself, which is really all anyone can ask for. I travel a lot and have foolishly tried getting haircuts elsewhere. Big mistake. Those cuts usually fall somewhere between “eh” and “what happened here.” At this point I should know better. Edie is the reset button. Consistent, thoughtful, and zero surprises in the worst way. She’s also great to talk to, which matters when someone is holding sharp objects near your head. Easy conversation, calm confidence, and very clear she knows exactly what she’s doing. Fleet Street has a great vibe overall, but Edie is why I won’t roll the dice anywhere else. Highly recommend. Learn from my mistakes.

Great haircut from Bianca and lovely interior design. Happy to see that it was queer friendly. However I'm really disappointed that there was zero mention beforehand of the energetic and barking dog that was free roaming the shop. It was very overstimulating and frustrating. I just wish that the dogs presence was made clear before I booked the appointment and arrived at the salon. Just an FYI for anyone else who is uncomfortable around dogs. Probably won't be returning for this reason.

My mom has been battling cancer, and after losing her hair, she struggled to recognize herself. When it finally grew back—short and unfamiliar—she wanted to return to the color and style she’d had for years. Edie didn’t just give her a haircut; she helped my mom rediscover her confidence and see the beauty she couldn’t see in herself. As my mom’s illness progressed, Edie went above and beyond—coming to see her in hospice to give her one final haircut. My mom, who had always taken such pride in her hair, was able to find peace and dignity, looking and feeling like a queen in her final days. There are stylists, and then there are people like Edie—whose heart, compassion, and artistry make a lasting difference in people’s lives. Our family will never forget what she did for my mom.

Fleet Street is my favorite barbershop in the area, welcoming space, evident cleanliness is a priority, & creative seasonal decoration. Unique barbershop that is better than most, worth the money for a good haircut!
