My expectations for professional haircuts a/o dyes are so high rn. This is my first time going to an actual salon to get my haircut, and I will be coming back until the sun explodes. Allison did my hair, and she gave me just what I wanted! I was worried that the layers towards the top weren’t going to be as short as I wanted, or that it would turn out as a flat dip-dye, but she did NOT disappoint. Tbh, the more I stare in the mirror, the more it grows on me. I was going for something with layers, pretty short since I wanted my curls to be tighter at the roots—I didn’t know if I was going to like it since I’ve had hair down to my mid-back for a while now, but I absolutely love the short look. This salon is SO beautiful and inviting from the moment you walk in! Caitlin is a master when it comes to haircutting so stop whatever you’re doing and book with her! Love that they have easy parking and tons of non-toxic products to learn about too!

The Flora hair salon was a beautiful and welcoming environment. My hair stylist Allison did an amazing job with my 2C/3A curly brown hair. During the consultation, she patiently listened to all of my ideas and questions about the hair cut I was looking for, and helped me embrace my natural curly hair. Allison was very knowledgeable about which hairstyles and haircuts will look best for my natural curly hair, but also encouraged me to try things out of my comfort zone if I felt like it. I left feeling very confident in my hair cut. I highly recommend Allison for haircuts, especially for fellow curly haired people!

I get my hair done by Allison at flora and she has definitely given me so many reasons to consider her my sole stylist when anyone asks. Very kind, professional, and makes the entire experience comfortable and a lot less intimidating when you want to ask questions.
