FOFANA EXPRESS HAIR BRAIDING 3

I've been a regular customer for over 3 years and have been to all 3 of their locations starting with their original one on 125th and Fredrick Douglass. I've been tolerating them due to their pricing and their work being decent for the most part. I've finally reached my breaking point and will not be returning to any of these fofana locations. Since they have expanded the quality and service has declined drastically !!! It was never great to begin with though. Their service is horrible , their communication is horrible , they gaslight their customers. They will dead look you in the face and tell you that a medium braid/part is small. They will play in the back of head and do larger parts and then try to do small parts in the front. Not every worker knows how to braid, some only know how

I’ve been to the other two locations. Most recently, the one on Malcolm X, which has been my go to. I went to this one because they were running a promo for $160. I’m coming from Long Island. I asked for a small medium parts they were mainly medium. It’s been a little less than four weeks and my hair looks like it’s been in for over two months and my hair is coming out of the braids and I’ve never had that experience with the other locations. I feel like they need to take their time and care when doing people’s hair. Because she was stopping and going and then two other people were braiding down. I wish my hair would’ve last longer.

First things first I called and told them I’ll be there in the morning they said no problem. I came around 11:00 they started me at 12 cool. I showed the lady the picture of what I want she said she can do it it’s just plain twist long with medium parts and it’s medium. She gave me a shmedium and while she was doing my hair she kept stopping to do other peoples and was also while doing my hair she wasn’t handling it with care it pained me throughout. She then told me the hair that I have wasn’t a lot of hair and they will add on with what they have. I said okay. The finished result of the hair my hair wasn’t even close to my bottom back. She said there wasn’t enough hair. I’m not satisfied with it at all. I got 58’inch of hair that even my last braider can make it long. I am just now leavi

They wasn’t truthful I told them I’m leaving be in it was to many ppl they said no I’m going to do it now and had me waiting. Whole hr before they started then they stop my hair to do someone else then came back to me again I been here for over 5 hr going on 6 for simple braids

I love my hair. I just wish multiple people didn't come and go in and out of my hair to braid. Also next time I will bring my own hair because whatever brand they use is very itchy in the beginning.
