From the moment I spoke to Freddy on the phone, I was pleased by her professionalism. I drove an hour to get to her shop on a Friday morning. I wasn't sure of exactly what style I wanted, and she was very patient with helping me decide. Not only was she able to help me decide on a look, but she even mixed the perfect color to match my lightened hair. I enjoyed chatting with Freddy. She was very pleasant and personable. I could tell that she takes pride in her work. I'm growing my hair from a short haircut and was surprised at how she was able to grip my shorter hair without causing me discomfort and how quickly she completed my twists. Her price was reasonable. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I'd definitely go back to Freddy's in the future

Double booked and customer have to wait a long time. I spent 12 hours for a refresh that should have taken 3. Gives a price then changes the price after she finishes the hair. She said my refresh would cost 70 for the top row, but then tried to charge me 120. Claiming that it took long. But it took long because she was double booked and jumping from head to head. Multiple people working on your hair that did not make the braids with unison. Bad feeder braids. Bad refresh. Not a quality job.

This lady here, the Freddy Braiding there's a cold liar. This lady told me she can park here and do hair. I bought both of my daughters here to re-twist my daughter's dreads rephrase locks. She said she charges $80. I'm like OK cool that's cool. My daughter comes back out as if one of my little boys played in her hair. That's how bad it was then my other daughter she was she has locks too and she was getting a blue braids around her during her locks or something, but she didn't like it. She didn't do nothing to her hair. She basically wasted a lot of hair and wasn't even halfway done on her head And now she's talking about that. We owe her money for work that does not look right. Where do I start? I have NEVER encountered a woman as talented, respectful, helpful & precise as Ms. Freddy. I did not have an appt nor have I ever been to her shop prior. However I called & was able to come in the same day!!! Upon arrival I received a phone call from Freddy herself distributing step by step directions to find both the shop & free parking (in Silver Spring, that's a bonus). Once I found my way I was warmly welcomed by Ms. Freddy herself, along with her helpful staff. Looking around the shop it was both spacious &'spotless! Immediately my hair was soothingly washed & blow dried ($10). My hair is THICK & shoulder length btw just to give you a visual. Two people worked on my hair from start to finish while I separated the hair (provided by the shop) & comfortably watched tele
