Genesis Hair Braiding

If I could rate this place a 0, I would. I went to get my hair braided before I was set to go outta town with Pony hair and within 8 hrs I had braids falling out all over my head. The young lady who braided the back the back of my hair braided my braids in all different sizes, some little some big some medium. I did send the owner a text message letting her know what happen and she did say to come back when I got back in town and at first I said I would come back and from time I got off the phone with her more braids fell out. As I thought about it more I decided that if she messed it up this bad the first time I refuse to go back and sit another 4 hours to have her mess it up any more. The worst place I’ve ever been

Made an appointment for a Saturday and the stylist never showed up. I called her phone at least 10 times as I waited for over an hour with no luck. I had to scramble to get another stylist to take me for braids. She called me back and said she was having car trouble. She never tried to reschedule or apologize for the inconvenience. I rode by an hour after she called only to see her braiding hair through the window. Very unprofessional and will not return. Very disappointed because she does decent work but will show up late or not at all.

Hello, the owner of the shop was very respectful and braided my hair just how i wanted it to be , the braids were consistent and overall it was a great experience. I definitely will be going back !!

I got small box braids and the service was awesome and the shop owner is amazing! i ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY BRAIDS AND I PLAN ON GOING BACK AFTER I TAKE THESE OUT IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS THE OWNER WHO BRAIDED MY HAIR WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB I KEEP GETTING NOTHING BUT GOOD COMPLIMENTS ON MY BRAIDS

I am angry and disappointed as the stylist was taking down my braids and cut my hair. Unacceptable!
