Gills Barbershop

Ive been to several different barbershops.. bieng to have to travel for my profession.. most of them do a really good job.. a couple not so much.. however randy.. took the head and face for beyond anything that I have ever experienced.. he is a master craft at what he does.. had some treatments that i have never had before.. he treats your shave with the upmost important.. he wants you to look the best when you leave his shop... and trust me you actually will.. and texting him to make an appointment... he is more than willing to work with your schedule and will respond quick and figure out the best time to meet with you..

What a great experience! These guys are the real deal. The place was clean, comfortable and full of history. I loved talking to the owner and other barbers there. Will definitely be back.

I took my husband here they did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and relaxing haircut and shave. My husband is now planning his haircuts to be here from now on. And let me tell you ladies the stuff he puts in there beards smells soooo good my lord!

Before recently having to move back in with my parents in Dallas for medical reasons, I lived in Bixby. I've been going to Charlie Gills for, I want to say, atleast 19 years for some very specific reasons; 1) they took time to get to know you and would know how you'd want your hair done every time 2) they're all very personable makes for great conversations and 3) the final and most important thing, the quality. Unmatched, just superb from the 1st time I went to the last time I had been, just quality.

Unfortunately, my last trip here did not go well. I asked Randy to leave an inch on top and after playing with his new shears he said "it didn't work out" so he broke out the clippers and it wasn't until I returned home and showered out the gel/mousse he rubbed in at the end that I saw it was maybe 1/4" and looked horrible. Some of the hair near the side of my head is longer than the hair on the top of my head. It's like I volunteered at a barber school and didn't know it, but instead paid to be a volunteer. It's real bad and I can only wait for the top to grow out to have someone fix it.
