Giovanni's Barbershop

I was a walk in and I got lucky a gentleman miss his apartment I got right in. I am highly pleased with this barber shop it was comfortable and clean. I showed them a picture of what I looked like after a good haircut with a picture. I have to say he nailed it and the price was pretty good 27 dollars isn't bad. I tip barbers who are professional and do a good job very well usually about 30 percent. I will be back I guess it's better to have an appointment.

Dan did a very Professional Job. He knows his business and is clear about getting the job done right. The place is clean, neat, and appeals to men. I appreciated the small talk and the fact that the haircut was what I expected. Very professional. Great price and Great Service. I will return. Ps He shaved, my neck with a razor, and did a fabulous job. This hasn't been done to me for 40 or 50 years. I forgot what I was missing.

Updated -12/8/25- 5 star review for the shop- Friendly staff, mixed clientele and clean facility. The prefered method of booking appointments is a user friendy app titled "The Cut" that eliminates accidental double booking or human error. *10* star review Barber**Sean Merritt**- Sean has been cutting my hair and beard for 7+ years at this shop and has given me nothing less than a perfect haircut. His memory of past cuts and conversations is a roladexs of information that is always impressive. Sean is easy to talk too, while also understanding when to resign to silence. He has given me advice, fostered friendships and has become an integral part of my life. I hope you have the privilege of getting your haircut by him.

Giovanni’s barbershop in North Akron is a must stop if your are interested in how your hair looks. I have had my haircut by all three gentlemen and they all exceeded expectations not once but do so consistently. It is not a place where the initial cut is good and thereafter just so so. I primarily have Dan cut my hair now as his extended hours seem to lineup best with my scheduling needs. Dan is a great barber, his bald fades or any haircut for that matter are top notch.
