This place is a hidden Gem 💎. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to inform you about this shop. Living in the area for 8mnth now I was looking for a GREAT braiding shop. After asking around a friend and a co-worker both mentioned “Giselle’s” . After reading the reviews and the fact it’s 12 mins away from my home. I decided to give them a call. I wanted to come in on a Thursday evening at 4pm. They was willing to see me as a walk in. I waited about 15 mins be we started. The braised was finishing a client and took a quick break. The stylists here are all very good. The place is very friendly. Like all salons though, it helps to have an appointment as it's small and they can get very busy (and since braiding takes a long time, you might have to wait a while). Parking available on street or on a lot next door. Also next to a small convenience store if you need food and a nail salon for after getting your hair done. BTW, they watch CBS all day so if you like ABC or NBC daytime, you are out of luck.

I once was pleased with Gisele and her staff. I gave them 5 ⭐. But today I changed it to 1⭐. Due to making an appointment the day before @9am. I got there around 9:15 am. They had the audacity to tell me come back🤦🏾‍♀️ later around 3pm. Why? Because someone is front of you, needless to say that Sister didn't have a appointment. During our conversation she was paying $240, me not even $100. But I do tip well. I will not be going back 😡 now I see why they are losing customers. I'm quite sure, I'm not to only one they treated like this. Plus they don't wash their wash before they add in your hair. I was going to request that they wash the hair before they add with my hair. They turned down my service just because they wanted to. They didn’t give me a reason not to do my hair but just told me no. The lady tried to tell me they don’t do 5 braids only 6 or better for feeding braids so I said ok fine then the next lady tells me “ u need to get more then 6 braids” as through my hair to to short but it I know it was so she could make more money. Mind you I’ve seen other women with less hair than me get less braids at the same salon. I have paid them over 1,000 within a year to do my hair but they literally turn me down bc I wanted a cheaper style this time but another time when they were about to close they tried to make me to get a cheaper style bc it was less braids so they can be out of there at closing like what type of unprofessionalism is that ?
