Glo Tanning

Charlie and Avery were both SO friendly! I just relocated back from Alaska and was looking to start a tanning membership again. Avery greeted me with a smile the second I walked in the door, and made me feel like I belonged there even though she was assisting another customer at the time. Avery was very professional and did a walk through to show me all the beds and explained how to use them. I ended up signing up for a package & bringing home some great products! See yall soon! 🤍

The girls here are always so friendly. Yesterday I had an issue with my account and the sweet girl got it resolved. Unfortunately, it took quite some time, and there were other guests waiting to be checked in, but she was by herself. I downgraded my membership at the beginning of this month for that very reason. Every time I come in, the sweet girls are overwhelmed. I have had to leave a few times because they are explaining the membership and showing people around and upselling the products but no one else to check in the guests waiting in line. It’s unfortunate to have women sitting in the lobby in their robes waiting for their next service, but not enough employees to help everyone, while the beds were empty. The staff is amazing. But stretched too thin.

I don’t know what has happened to the standards at this location, but the new hires are a complete disappointment. The level of incompetence, lack of professionalism, and absence of basic customer service is unacceptable. Today was the final straw. After yet another negative interaction with an employee named Cheyenne, I asked if there was another Glō Tanning location she could recommend. Her response was that she’d be “glad to refer me to never come back.” That alone speaks volumes about the culture and training at this salon. As of TODAY, I have officially moved salons. You may want to reevaluate who you have representing your brand, because this experience was an embarrassment to your company. I will not be returning.

I have never been so targeted with blantant racism and micro aggressions by MADDIE. Don’t bother stopping here, Maddie is here to make sure you will not have a relaxing experience. Please hire better staff like Charlie. Charlie started off my experience as a PROFESSIONAL. She gave me a tour answered my questions. After I waited about 30 minutes to resume my time and service, Maddie who lied about what services could not be performed then went in after 3-4 minutes and shut off my tan. I was made to feel like by MADDIE that Black and Brown people are not allowed to have a relaxing experience. I cannot imagine subjecting myself to such an intolerable experience again.
