I booked a blowout a couple of weeks in advance and chose a specific stylist because of her great reviews, so it was disappointing to arrive and be told she was out of town without any prior notice. I would’ve appreciated being informed ahead of time so I could adjust my plans or expectations. The service itself also wasn’t what I expected from a blowout—it was a wash and round-brush dry, and I was then asked if I wanted curls. I may have misunderstood what was included, but I was expecting more volume or bouncy styling, such as rollers, and overall it felt more like a wash and style than a full blowout. The atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly; I just wish expectations had been clearer upfront regarding both the stylist and the final result.

Michele is my favorite stylist at Gloss Aveda!! She makes you feel so welcomed & relaxed, she is so sweet & amazing! Her skill & talent is unmatched!! You will definitely love her! I always leave with gorgeous soft & beautifully styled hair!!

I get my hair cut and colored regularly and love Michele. When I first started coming here, my hair was fried and falling out. Looks and feels fab now.

Ellie has been doing my hair for years and she never disappoints! She is so attentive and great at listening and giving me exactly what I want. She gives me the brightest blonde with the best grow out while still prioritizing the health of my hair. I have had several friends comment on how good my hair looks and how blended the grow out looks even 5-6 months later. I am sure that you’re in excellent hands if Ellie is behind the chair!

Highlights done so poorly they look like outgrowth and are not blended at all, sadly. Also misled on pricing. When inquiring about getting this dye job fixed, they refused even a partial refund. They said I’m only allowed to come back in for color correction but their communication was often delayed, making scheduling miserable to try to coordinate. After multiple weeks of trying to schedule, I ended up giving up and forfeiting the money and keeping the terrible hair. Saving up now to get it fixed somewhere else. Not customer friendly in my experience. Bummer. I paid a premium price for poor quality, poor technique, and poor service.
