Glow Nail Bar

My first time here for a pedicure and I loved it! Lovely stimulating leg massage, and the chair massage is wonderful! My sister and I had the pedicures with all the works and they were excellent! My toes are holiday ready! We will return and highly recommend 😊

I have been going to Glow Nail Bar for about 7 months now. My original nail tech left so I have been going to different ones since and haven’t had a complaint so far until today. I usually get a gel manicure and will just get the Hand Polish Change only, No Mani manicure. Today, my nails were a bit broken and brittle so we opted to do a bit of a different manicure to get them all to the same shape and to the desired length. My appointment was at 2 and I didn’t get done until 4, I had plans so I wasn’t able to stay and have my nails redone after them taking two hours to be completed. They usually take maybe an hour max. I have at least three cuts on my fingers, one that was bleeding the entire appointment and I had to leave with a bandaid on it. Lastly, my nails are not the same length. I a

Staff was very friendly and nice. I asked for square shaped gel x and this is not square. Also asked for a bow on my ring fingers and it was not great either. I went less than a week ago and most of my nails are already lifting.

Let’s start off with how uneven these EXPENSIVE nails are. Just showing pictures of some but they’re all uneven, and there’s uneven white on most all of them too. The edges are uneven and lumpy. I had dip nails previously and the water used to remove them scolded my skin, it hurt so bad. And the biggest pet peeve and reason for the bad score is unethical upselling and ripping people off. The biggest pet peeve of nail salons. I made an appointment online and said I wanted dip, the two options were dip with removal or without. When you go to dip on the website there’s no add ons or anything, just those options. So I chose dip with removal and said my total would be $53 and some change. Perfect I was fine with that. Third time’s the charm? Not in this case. This was my third (and probably final) visit to your salon. I really wanted to find a nice spot close to home after moving from Florida… but I think the universe is telling me to let this one go. Visit #2: My nail shape was alright, but the pedicure? Let’s just say my feet were still emotionally recovering. Visit #3 (aka “The Great Ombré Disaster”): I asked for a refill ombré. I even double-checked—several times—whether anyone actually knew how to do it. Classic ombré, people: a smooth blend of white and pink powder. Not rocket science. What I got instead?
