GloWell Hair Spa

GloWell Hair Spa is a beautiful salon with easy parking and a warm, welcoming staff. I came in for shoulder-length Marley twists and Charmaine did an incredible job — she’s talented, friendly, and made me feel so confident about my hair journey. I’ve continued to receive compliments on the style! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to a few behind-the-scenes issues with scheduling and supplies, which made the process a bit harder on the stylists. I truly believe this team deserves a system that supports them so they can shine even more. I definitely plan to return and recommend GloWell — I’m excited to see their continued growth and success!

I had such a great experience at Glowell Hair Spa! I had an appointment and there was virtually no wait time, which I really appreciated. Samaya washed/detangled my hair and the entire experience was so comfortable and relaxing. The massage chair was a nice touch. I also loved how supportive and comfortable the setup was around my neck. Aienya did my halo braid style and truly put so much care and effort into it. It came out so cute!! The salon itself is gorgeous, the hospitality was top tier and the music playing was such a vibe. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks!

It had been a couple of years since I visited a hair salon but in all my years I’d gone, never had I ever experienced the amazing treatment that I received upon walking through the doors of GloWell salon. From the relaxing environment and fragrance that permeated the space, down to the beautiful smile I was met with from the owner, and then the warm welcome by my hair, stylist, LaToyiah. She took her time to discuss with me the current condition of my hair (I had to confess to a homemade DIY-haircut; not my best choice). She never made me feel insecure or judged by my poor hair DIY project🤣. She gave me an amazing aroma therapy shampoo, conditioner, and steam treatment while I relaxed in a full body massage chair. I enjoyed my experience at Glowell! I received exceptional customer service from booking my appointment to actually visiting the salon. I really appreciated that. The salon is beautiful and it is truly a spa experience. The massage chairs during my shampoo were lovely and so relaxing. Catalina did my mini twists! I absolutely love them and I am already getting compliments. She was so sweet and made sure I was ok and comfortable throughout my service. This salon is a welcome addition to Alexandria, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

I was very impressed with my experience at Gowell. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the stylists are friendly, polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. My daughter's hair looks fantastic—the products they used really enhanced her natural texture and curl pattern beautifully. They were also very prompt with our appointment time, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
