Grace African Hair Braiding

I hate leaving 1 star reviews, but I am forced to , I was happy she was able to assist me last minute but I feel like she could’ve just refused the service if she knew her place looked like that , I’ve never been to an unsanitary set up like that , there was also roaches crawling around , and it was very messy & smelt really strong in there. I went for a quick service and it was almost half done. I guess she doesn’t specialize in wash & blow drys that would’ve been nice to know before coming. But overall it was a very affordable price but definitely still wasn’t worth it.

I asked for lemonade braids to the side she gave me this just horrible . She kept smacking gel on top of gel and using the blow dryer which made my hair crunchy and hard . She has mice . Her work place is very dirty and unsanitary. Her children run around and touch you and your hair . No one wears mask . I seen like 3 mouse run from the inside of her house into the garage. She put the braiding hair in her mouth then attached it to my head I had to tell her to clean her tools before she put them in my head because they were dirty . Mariem stays on her phone on FaceTime instead of finishing my hair and she keeps taking brakes sitting down eating . What she did to my head was horrible the braiding hair she used gave me I’m an scalp infection and I guess from her not washing her hair intensity

For one her set up was disgusting bugs everywhere and smelt bad, then as she braiding she falls asleep while doing my hair!! and was in my phone reading messages instead of putting all her attention on my hair ,was braiding very tight THEN STOPPED BRAIDING MY HAIR AFTER THE FIRST TWO ROWS because she got upset that I was texting someone about her poor services..would not recommend to anyone ever!!!! She had on no mask and and claims she went to sleep cause she was sick!!!! And said nothing to me about her being sick before she started..pls go somewhere else she is not it .

I had crochet twists installed by Merriam. She was thorough, fast, and she did a fantastic job.I am pleased with her work. I had my hair done at the Stockbridge location.

Wonderful, very laid back atmosphere! They have a store,to purchase your weave or wigs and they have a beauty shop where you would get it done! ONE STOP SHOP..WONDERFUL PEOPLE TOO!
