Grand Nail Salon - OAK LAWN

If I could 0 - star I would. For years my friend has begged me to try this place, I went 2 weeks ago & two of my nails have already badly chipped. Not to mention they never offered me anything to drink, when I finally asked for something it took them 30min-1hr to make a mimosa. Overall I’m so upset with how horrible the service was. Usually I go to Aura (off Blackburn - best location ever) never have to ask for someone specifically bc whoever I get still gets it right and my nails usually last 5-6 weeks!!!! Now I have to pay AGAIN to get a service done that should’ve just been done right the first time. This was the worst place ever - recommend yall go to Aura (they also have the best mojitos there & get you taken care of right away)!

Everyone at the salon is very welcoming, helpful and talented. Every visit I’ve had has always been positive, I’ve never made an appointment just walk-in when I can fit the time into my schedule. The nail design I got today is probably my favorite out of all of them. David did a powder dip French Ombré on my nails and they turned out so gorgeous! I’ve also had Maria do my nails and she’s great too. Highly recommend!

This is the closest nail salon to me so I typically go for convenience. I always have a great pedicure experience. My BIL is getting married for NYE so I decided to do a dip manicure too and it was underwhelming. Everyone is always so nice. But the manicure was extremely rushed and it shows. My dip is very thick, some nails aren’t filed straight and the corners on all of my nails were missed. There just wasn’t a lot of time and care taken with them. Additionally, usually with a dip manicure there is additional manicure work and that didn’t happen either.

David (manicure) and Alyssa (pedicure) were the best ever! We had such a beautiful conversation, and the service was absolutely exceptional. I’ll definitely be back to see them both again. It was the best experience I’ve had in a long time — relaxing, kind, and so well done. A much-needed moment of peace and care!

I love this place! I have been looking for a good nail salon in the area. I started going to in October and I’ve been back every month since then. I usually just get pedicures, but I am getting married soon so I’ve been looking for someone to do my nails. Jimmy has done my dip nails the last two times and has done a great job. The nails lasted about 6 weeks last time. He’s also super nice and fast! Andy is the manager and he’s also very friendly and helpful. Kayla did my toes this time and she did great too. It was around $130 total for dip and pedicure which is very reasonable in my opinion.
