Great Clips

Of all the Great Clips in the Rochester area, this is my favorite. Sometimes there is quite a wait but it is worth it to check online. I like the stylists who works there. While I get the same haircut, I love the look I get here.

I do not recommend this great clips, we usually go to Henrietta but the Gates location had a 0 wait time and I get off of work at 6. We stopped going here years ago because one of the stylists cuts little boys hair in a very outdated way regardless of any reference photos. We had a different stylist tonight I confirmed what was on file and she said a low fade into a 1. This is not a low fade, and even if I didn’t want a fade for him, the haircut is uneven. I didn’t notice it while we were there and I don’t want to go back because at this point it would be a bald fade and I’m not sure if it could be evened out because of the the random short patch that is towards the back of his head.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Always check the wait time online, you can also join the wait list and you'll receive a text when to head there if you opt in for the text.

Definitely would not recommend this location. My husband took our daughter yesterday to get her bangs trimmed and not only are two giant spots chopped way shorter than the rest but they weren’t even really trimmed since they still go below her eyebrow in spots. Updating the review because the owner contacted me very quickly to correct the issue and everyone was very kind. The new stylist did a great job correcting the bangs

Nicole, this review is specifically on your service and not this location overall. You seemed very distracted, not sure if you had a bad morning or week but you should have left it at home and I might have decent bangs. I asked for a wash, side part bob with leveled bang. I was very specific when I showed her I would like my bangs to fall below my eyebrows and fall pretty much right above my eyelashes so I had room for bumping when styling. Not only did she give me a middle part, but she completely chopped my bangs crooked and didn't allow them to dry or blow dry to see the finished style. I had to ask her to make it even because one side was much shorter than the other. Now I'm driving home and my hair has dried and I'm in tears as I told her I have a trip coming up in a couple days.
