Gregory's Oceanfront Barbershop and Salon

****AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID**** Recently I stayed oceanfront for a couple weeks. I wanted a highly rated barbershop that was within walking distance so I chose Gregory's Oceanfront Barbershop. Since they take walk-ins, I arrived at the barbershop at 6 pm. The website shows they close at 7 pm. Upon arrival, the only person there was an older gentleman sitting at the first chair on the right. He stated they were closed and to try again tomorrow. This was an hour before they were supposed to close. I came back the next day around 4:30 pm and a younger, slim built guy I'll call Mumbles, said something and pointed to another older lady that appeared from the back room. Wow wow wow. All I have to say is Greg is a master of his work. I went from a high and tight clean cut look for years that he mastered, then started growing my hair out for 5 years (halfway down my back). It was somewhat of an attachment that I was fearful of getting rid of. I recently went in with a picture of bringing it to a surfer style, shoulder length kind of grungy look and he NAILED it. The man is an artist. He tops it off with a personality of a loving and caring person. You can tell he does everything with care. I tell all my friends to go there and all have the same to say. Keep up the great artistic work Greg. I have so much respect for you and will keep coming back

Best barber shop in Virginia Beach! I walked in at 8:45am and walked out at 9:15am with exactly the haircut I wanted. If you want a barber who listens and makes you feel welcome and at ease, and a haircut with clean lines, go to Gregory's. He even gave me some tips on styling my new haircut, and I left feeling dapper af.

I used to go to Gregory’s but never again. The guy working at 3pm on October 12th just provided the worst haircut beard trim I’ve ever seen much less paid for. Uneven and you could tell he just wanted to leave. Sorry Gregory, but he just cost you a local customer. Thanks but no thanks.

I did a walk in for a haircut and beard. Owner was very personable. A number of regular clients came in as I was getting my cut. Range of prices were good. Haircut $25+ Beard $12+ Vip which I understand to be just going in to get the edges and neck cleaned up. $12 Convenient just off the main strip. They have a parking lot to. They were set up for it looked like the ability to have 4 barbers when I was there they had 2 on. I will be planning on going back again.
