I was looking for a salon in the Bronx I looked at the reviews for Genesis and noticed that the poor reviews were more than 3 years old. I decided to see for myself. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and busy it was! I was very satisfied with the pedicure done by Maria. Maria was meticulous. I also ran into my nbour was another satisfied customer. Will go back again.

They’re Customer Service Is Terrible. Majority of The Workers Do Not Speak Any English Making Communication Impossible. The Woman Doing My Pedicure Kept Digging In The Side Of My Foot After Pulling My Foot Back About 3 Times. The Tools Aren’t Properly Sanitized, They Just Spray Them With A Little Alcohol. The Next Day I Woke Up With My Toe Swollen And Infected.

My nails are horrible , very thick nothing how I wanted was charged $50 for basically a $20 dollar job horrible .I’ve never had this issue at this location . Pics -What I got VS what I wanted (I didn’t care for the design but I want long thin nails )

Very unprofessional place. I was going here for about a year and they kept getting worse each time. They always have a line despite taking appointments over the phone and have a list they don’t obey by. They make you sign in just to have you wait and they pick whoever they want/see first. When tried to be confronted about it they still didn’t want to listen. They do a very average job nothing special for an expensive amount. Until I waited 3 hours and decided to never come back. Just know you are waiting a long time for okay nails and bad service. Would not recommend.
