Hair by Heidi

I am sad to say that I was just literally thrown out of Heidi‘s shop. She actually called 911 threatening to call the police. I was calm and just asking her what could’ve happened because the hairpiece I ordered was reportedly blown up by customs. And then I asked her what could we do because couldn’t the same thing happened and that just seemed to trigger her and she became Extremely Active and angry and refused to say anything other than leave my shop. I have been a customer for probably over a decade. We’ve always gotten along. I am in shock. I just want to warn others about this triggering.

tldr; Heidi was amazing and i don’t say that lightly! i’ve been cutting my own hair (relatively well) for over a decade. i am constantly going from medium length to a bob and i had some cuts where i walked out going, “this isn’t really what i wanted this to look like.” situations where the stylist cut my hair to the picture i showed and not the actual texture/style/thickness of my hair. i figured why pay money if the risk of me hating it is as high at a studio as it is at home, which would at least be free. but ive been annoyed enough at my hair recently to think that a full on shaping would be a good idea and was sold on heidi due to the price and the proximity. she’s so thoughtful in how she listens and talks through everything! i’ve never had a haircut where i can’t stop staring at i

I've had the same person cut my hair since 1991. I don't see that changing any time soon.

Small salon that is very careful about COVID-19 guidelines and cleaning. Good service too -- Jovy has been cutting my hair for years now.

Talented, knowledgeable, and can be a good conversationalist, or a quiet hair stylist. She has never steered me wrong in hair cut or color choices.
