Hair Cuttery

Special shout out to Almaz!!! 5 stars for her!!! She is absolutely wonderful! I took a break from bleaching my hair because it was so damaged and I was really upset with how unhealthy and dark my hair was. Almaz highlighted it and cut it in such a way that makes my hair look and feel GORGEOUS! It looked very full and healthy. I never trust people with highlighting my hair besides my stylist at home who I have been seeing for 10+ years but Almaz absolutely nailed it and did in a way that prevented further damage. She is fantastic and I highly recommend her!!! So glad to have found her!

Bisrat is simply the best! She’s been working there for over 15 years, having the most outstanding skills. I had moved out of that neighborhood and living far away, but I still go back to her for my hair care.

Jeanette has been doing my hair for about 20 years. I’ve followed her through three different location changes. She is fantastic; really goes the extra mile by providing little extras like a head massage during shampooing and conditioning.

My stylist, Bisrat, did a very good job. However, I did have a problem with Hair Cuttery itself. I received from Hair Cuttery an email offering a so-called "promotion" -- "20% off any single service. I attempted to book an appointment for this "promotion", but none of my preferred stylists were available on the day I desired. So, instead, I just went to the salon to request the first avaiulable stylist. I needed a haircut badly, and I needed on that day. However, when finished and I proceeded to pay, I showed the email "promotion" on my phone. The promotion was not honored. I was told I required a "code", and that the "code" could be obtained UNLESS I booked the appointment ONLINE. The promotional email did not explicitly make this clear. I write this review through gritted teeth and absolutely obscene amounts of rage fueled by the regret of spending approximately one hour at this establishment November 9, from 9:15 a. m. to 10:10 a. m. I had made an appointment for a Deluxe Blowout, and flat ironing. I regardless still had to explain to the stylist I was assigned the specific services I had already booked. As I explained, I requested her to ensure volume at the roots and as least product to be used as possible. Most of my requests were ignored. I walked out extremely disappointed with flat hair, and a poorly done blowout, with hair behind my ears, even though I had asked her to not put it behind my ears, and was slapped with a $78 charge at the end of my overly disappointing service.
