Hair Cuttery

I walked in 2/26/26 with my husband & we both wanted only our ends trimmed (we both have curly hair) Patrick took my husband & Shahla took me. I told her I had washed my hair that morning but I did not comb it, so it was tangled and in a braid. Mind you, She asked “so no wash?” I said “oh no, yes wash”. She proceeds to untangle my hair, did not take me back to wash it, i thought maybe she’d do it at the end & go over it. My cutt took 10 mins total. She did not section my hair, literally cutt chunks out & left a half job done. She was spraying my hair, nowhere leaving it wet. She cutt my hair DRY. You cannot cutt any hair let alone curly hair dry. Mind you I went back first and when I was done, she didnt even attempt to style it, it stayed the same way I came in there, a mess, now only this

I called the salon and a very nice lady name Shahla answered the phone, I told her I need to get something done, a highlight, a lowlight, anything! Just want to change, she was kind enough to schedule me for the same day and upon my arrival, I was greeted by Shahla, she had a nice smile on and was very welcoming. I noticed she was cleaning the chair after her previous client, something that is very important to me. Then she patiently listened to me while I was trying to explain the look I was trying to achieve. She then started the highlights, I have done my hair so many times, enough to know that she was a pro, she did a wonderful job adding full highlights followed by a base color change. Overall, my experience was great. I was a bit surprised that when I checked out and added a tip, it tipped on total bill not just the haircut part of the bill. I bought product so instead of the tip being $7 it was $14. Product should not be included in tip calculation.

Cut is fine, but I was way over charged. Online it said $22 for a kids cut & shampoo. I was charged $34. She blow dried it, but that can’t cost $12. My child is a toddler. Definitely would not go back. I’d go to a high end salon instead for that price.

Needed to just fix my layers a bit and Kim was fantastic! She was fast and did exactly as I asked. Thank you for a great experience! Will definitely come see you again! ✂️😊
