Hair Elation African Braiding

I got Gypsy/Goddess/Boho braids (knotless). I had an amazing experience. Pricing was very reasonable. I felt comfortable, welcome and will definitely go back. Thank you so much.

My daughter and I got our hair today at Hair Elation and the owner (Jean) took care of me and my daughter. My daughter had school pictures on Friday, do I wanted to get her hair done at least 24 hours to endure the pain. My daughter looks great and it didn't take up alot of time as the other Braiding Salons. Everyone is nice, understanding, talkative, and actually listened to you and laugh with you especially when watching the TV. I had a good time and it was do worth it to me so Thank You!!! 💖

Was recommend to go there. My first and last time. I showed Ms.Jean a clear picture of what I wanted and the length. She started in the back, It was fine, but by the time she got to the middle top working to the front it was not what I wanted, braids too long and too small. Too late to take down and do right and was charged too much. Being that it was not what I wanted. Have a blessed day.

It's been a little over two months now. I regret the day I came here. $160 down the drain. I'd have been better off burning the cash. First off, I made an appointment for the afternoon at 3 pm and wasn't even in the chair til after 6. Granted she did call because her previous appointment was running longer than expected, and that's fine. But my hair wasn't finished til midnight. I was happy, I thought we were vibing; she kept us entertained with dramatic, exciting African movies that had you on the edge of your seat. Now 3 days later in the same week, one of the back braids came out. Again, nbd it happens. I didn't get the time to go back to her as my hair was done for a out of town event. I kept the braid and went on. This was the following weekend. By the time I was back on the Tuesday I

I went to the salon a little skeptical after reading the two previous reviews, but I walked in and immediately the owner (Jean) gave me some fruit and a small T-Shirt. My hair took half the time than I was anticipating and what it has taken me at other salons. It was also painless, and we had some very nice conversations. I am a young college student and would definitly recommend this salon to others who want good and courteous service. I would, however, suggest calling to make an appointment rather than just walking in.
